Sustainathon 2025 Judging Criteria

1. Innovation and Creativity (25%)

  • Originality of the idea or approach

  • Use of cutting-edge technology or novel methods

  • Creativity in addressing the sustainability challenge

2. Relevance and Alignment (15%)

  • Clear alignment with one or more Sustainathon tracks

  • Relevance to Saudi Arabia’s environmental and developmental context

  • Contribution to Vision 2030 and the 2060 Carbon Neutrality Target

3. Feasibility and Practicality (20%)

  • Technical and operational feasibility of the proposed solution

  • Clarity and realism of the implementation plan and timeline

  • Identification and mitigation of potential risks and challenges

4. Impact and Sustainability (25%)

  • Potential environmental, social, and economic impact

  • Scalability and adaptability of the solution to wider contexts

  • Long-term sustainability, including funding and resource plans

5. Presentation and Clarity (15%)

  • Quality and clarity of the proposal documentation and supporting materials

  • Effectiveness of communication in explaining the problem and solution

  • Professionalism and completeness of the submission
